To mark my 40th birthday, I wanted to do something that genuinely scares me.
Rather than a party, I've chosen a challenge.
I am bringing back Red Fish Theatre, the company founded in my 30th birthday week, to produce a one night only event for my 40th.
White Rabbit Red Rabbit is one of the world's most talked-about theatrical experiences. The performer receives the script for the very first time on stage, in full view of the audience. There are no rehearsals, no director, no set, and no idea what will happen next.
For one night only, I'll be experiencing the play exactly as it was intended—completely unprepared.
Written by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour, this extraordinary piece has been performed around the world by actors, comedians, musicians, and public figures, with every performance being completely unique.
If you've seen it before, you'll know why people don't reveal what happens. If you haven't, the less you know beforehand, the better. I am in the latter and have absolutely no clue as to the content of the play, beyond the title.

This performance is proudly supporting the Foundation for Feline Renal Research, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing research into feline kidney disease, improving treatment options, and helping cats live longer, healthier lives. Chronic kidney disease affects a significant number of cats, and continued research offers hope for better prevention, diagnosis, and care. $10 of each ticket, the entire ticket cost outside of Eventbrite fees, will be donated to the charity.
