White Heat Presents: Lean Mean Swing Machine
White Heat is back this month with the Lean Mean Swing Machine, led by trumpeter Charlie Caranicas!
Charlie has performed and toured with some of the best-known bands in the swing dance scene, including the Gordon Webster Band, Naomi Uyama and Her Handsome Devils, and Professor Cunningham and His Old School.
For White Heat, Charlie is bringing together a quartet of seasoned musicians who know how to swing and, more importantly, know how to play for dancers. We’re looking forward to having them on the White Heat floor again.
As always, we’re deeply grateful for the ongoing support of those who make White Heat possible every month.

We’ll have a little Bal Fusion while we clean up the space. Stick around, put on some non-jazz tunes, and get experimental with your balboa. No rules, no pressure, just a chance to play and see where it goes.
