Whistling in The Dark

New Narratives Contemporary Dance invites you to wander the historic halls of Arts Mission Oak Cliff in their inaugural production and Carrie Ruth Trumbo’s newest immersive creation, Whistling in The Dark.

Whistling in The Dark utilizes contemporary ballet, spoken word, and song, to envelope patrons in the moody and macabre. This site-specific show features several storylines that audiences can explore at their leisure, curating their own specific experience.

*Audience members are advised to wear comfortable footwear as they will be encouraged to move throughout the venue in this immersive performance. However, this is a "choose your own adventure" style production, and patrons have the option to remain seated in the main sanctuary for the duration of the show, should they prefer.
