Whistler Waldorf School Annual Winter FaireAbout this Event
The Whistler Waldorf School encourages you to “make it meaningful” at our annual Winter Faire on Saturday, December 3. Children and guardians are invited to join us and get in the spirit of this magical season.
Make natural, sustainable crafts which can be given as thoughtful gifts, take a walk through the enchanted Gnome Village, visit the Cookie Fairy, watch the Crane Maiden puppet show, and participate in beeswax candle dipping.
Who is invited? The faire is best suited to children 3 years up to and including Grade 7.
A limited number of tickets are available for each of the two craft sessions (10:30-12 or 12:30-2). Tickets must be purchased in advance.
What is included with a ticket? One ticket admits one child and an accompanying adult. Please purchase one ticket for each child attending.
Ticket holders will be able to complete crafts, experience the gnome village, visit the Cookie Fairy, make a beeswax candle, watch the puppet show, and sip on hot chocolate.
Craft options include: dipped beeswax candles, mason jar lanterns, fairy wands, painted ornaments, greeting cards, and a festive centerpiece.
The puppet show, the Crane Maiden, will be shown once during each shift. Showtimes are 11:30 am & 1 pm.
Event attendees are also welcome to visit the Children's Artisan Market showcasing one-of-a kind crafts made by WWS students and enjoy freshly made baked goods at our bake sale.
How does the event work? The Winter Faire has been split into two1.5 hour time slots (10:30-12 & 12:30-2). Tickets are limited for each time slot. Please arrive at the beginning of your time slot so that you have adequate time to enjoy the experience and complete various crafts!
