WHISPERS: Connections
Welcome to WHISPERS, a queer event series dedicated to intimacy, connection, and immersive art. Every edition explores a new theme and artistic medium while staying true to our mission: creating intentional, affirming spaces for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies.
This time, we're reimagining the WHISPERS experience.
WHISPERS: Connections brings back the queer variety show you love—but in a completely new format. Instead of gathering around one main stage, you'll journey through a series of intimate, one-of-a-kind performances designed to be experienced up close.
Throughout the evening, you'll join a small group of just 4–5 guests and rotate through five unique performance spaces, where each artist invites you into a personal, immersive encounter. Every room offers something different, creating moments of surprise, vulnerability, laughter, beauty, and genuine connection between performer and audience.
After everyone has completed their journey, we'll reunite for a fiery finale featuring our incredible fire performers—a spectacular ending to an unforgettable night.
Whether you're a longtime WHISPERS attendee or joining us for the first time, WHISPERS: Connections offers a rare opportunity to experience queer performance art in a deeply personal way while connecting with artists, fellow guests, and the vibrant creative community that makes Pittsburgh so special.
