Whiskeypedia - Japanese Whiskies - A tasting event series
About this Event
Whiskeypedia traces whiskey’s roots in the US. Born as an 18th-century homegrown spirit & celebrates the science of fermentation and distillation. Neat or in cocktails, it's an American legacy and a craft chemistry marvel.
In this seminar, however, Cam is taking the class across the Pacific, discussing Japanese whiskies. Topics covered will include distillery techniques, the climate of the country, and the choice of grain mash that gives Japanese whiskey it's distinct flavor profile.
Hosted by Cam Johnson, a Georgia born whiskey nerd born in Georgia who has worked in the bar world and Hollywood for multiple years. Cam brings with him a wealth of whiskey knowledge that spans from American bourbon to International Scotch.
