Join us at Hats, Boots & Bourbon Istedgade for a whiskey tasting with renowned bourbon expert, Henrik Brandt.This event will be titled “An Introduction to American Whiskies (Corn, Bourbon, and Rye)” and be an excellent class for those wishing to learn more about the wonderful world of whiskies from across the pond.
That’s not to say it’s class for beginners only, either. Henrik is one of Denmark’s foremost experts when it comes to American whiskies; having visited the states many times; curated a fine collection of his own, which now eclipses 300 bottles (!); and written and published a book on the subject.
So, we think it’s safe to say, if you have questions on the matter that need answering, Henrik is the man to ask.
Seats will be extremely limited, in the hopes that everyone gets a chance to have some one-on-one time and all their questions answered.
So, be sure to sign up while tickets are still available for your chance to try some really good American whiskies with somebody who’ll be happy to talk through the tasting process and give a little backstory on the history, production, and enjoyment of them all.
Price: 450 dkk/ person
Included in price: 6 x 2 cl samples, a welcome drink and a great evening.
NB:
- A welcome drink (beer, tea/coffee, soda) is included in the ticket price.
- Food will not be served in the shop, so don’t come on an empty stomach.
