Whiskey Row Tasting Class #255

Discover how Louisville’s historic “Whiskey Row Region” went from pre-Prohibition powerhouse to a vibrant modern bourbon hub. In this class, you’ll explore the evolution of Whiskey Row in and around downtown Louisville, Kentucky, from its early days as a major whiskey trading center to its decline after Prohibition and its dramatic rebirth starting in 2013 with the opening of the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience. You’ll learn how a wave of new urban distilleries and visitor experiences has re-established this area as the third major bourbon-making region in Kentucky.

Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or just beginning your whiskey journey, this event offers a perfect blend of history & flavor. The class will be an interactive 1.5 hour presentation on the history and virtues of Whiskey Row distilleries and their products. During the class, each participant will receive 6 - 1/2 oz samples of whiskies to smell and taste. Your ticket also includes appetizers to enjoy along the way.

Liquor Vault has partnered with Whiskey University (whiskeyuniv.com) to feature a series of Whiskey Tasting Classes. Come for one, or complete a series to earn a Bourbon Whiskey Certificate and the title "Apprentice Bourbon Taster" from Whiskey University.
