Come and join me at an open exhibition at Hayleys, where I will be demonstrating how wool is turned into yarn.
This ancient skill, once at the forefront of the textile industry is fascinating to watch.
I’ll guide you through the whole process, starting with fluffy fleece and ending with beautiful, ready to use thread.
I will be using a mixture of spinning techniques to create a range of effects.
Feel free to watch, ask questions, find out about future workshops or one to one lessons, or simply enjoy seeing how spinning works up close. Mandy x
