Scotland punches well above its weight when it comes to piano players who leave a huge impression wherever they perform. We only need to think of the dazzling brilliance of the late Brian Kellock and the sheer dynamism of Fergus McCreadie's playing.

Ben's reputation has soared in the last few years. A young man with a brilliant future. His piano playing often belies his age - playing with such clarity and maturity.
Tonight he brings together a young quartet - who, individually and collectively, have made a mark on the Scottish, UK and International jazz scene - alongside Ben will be the awesome Harben Kay (alto sax) - past winner of the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the year, Ewan Hastie on double bass - and the incredibly versatile Chun-Wei Kang on drums.
