In September we will be joined by Susan Widlake who will give us an overview of how she got started in millinery. She will take us through the process of making a hat, using an example of one of the first hats she ever made.
We will see hats that inspired by the Sydney Opera House, and one that was made whilst sitting next to a film star. Susan says to expect some random facts and that we will leave knowing why ‘women are always right’.
There will also be an opportunity for us to ‘dress up’ and try different hats on, and of course, pose for photos!
Female non-members are welcome to join us. Just email us to let us know you're coming on [email protected]
