Where Were YOU When …? By TV News and Sports Presenter Bill McFarlan
From The Ice Cream Wars and Band Aid…to the Glasgow Garden Festival, I presented the big stories of the 1980s on STV and BBC.
As a TV sports presenter, I interviewed Connors and McEnroe - Nicklaus, Ballesteros and Watson - Souness and McNeill.
And presented with Jill Dando, Viv Lumsden and Sally Magnusson.
For one night of nostalgia only, I’m lifting the lid on the story behind the big stories - as I share my personal archive of video clips and funny stories from five decades in the media.
At Eastwood Park Theatre on Thursday October 30th at 730pm.
