A FREE, all ages matinee! If you haven’t seen it since you were a kid, come see it on the big screen! Or, even better, come see it WITH your kids! We’ll have some fun stuff for the kids beforehand and will keep our intros brief and family friendly! Sponsored by the Palm Springs Public Library.
We love this 1975 film. And, while Freaky Friday from the very next year is, perhaps, the better known live action kids Disney Film, this one deserves another look. It’s got telekinesis, telepathy, and a couple of sequels! Bet you don’t see that coming!

The USA turns 250 years old this year. It’s a BIG birthday! So we’ve put together a series that looks back at our last big birthday…the bicentennial of 1976. Four “prime time” movies in the evenings and one VERY SPECIAL all-ages, FREE, family friendly matinee brought to you by the Palm Springs Public Library. It’s our birthday gift toPalm Springs and we can’t wait to see you!
Deserted Films, the Palm Springs Public Library, and the Palm Springs Cultural Center have teamed up to bring you 5 key films to get us thinking about where we were when we hit 200.
Deserted Films will present a special pre-show before each feature… and we’ve got some spectacular bicentennial-era home movies and other goodies to share!
Enjoy the PSCC AC! Meet interesting people! See things you can’t see on TV or anywhere else! And support a couple of filmy nonprofits that need your help in the Summer!
