About this Event
Dear families,
This Spring, Brooklyn Beanstalk in partnership with the Language and Laughter Studio are offering a new series of adventures for our young budding artists
In the spirit of Maurice Sendak who has shone some light during wild times,
WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE invite children from 5 to 10 years old into the world of Puppetry Arts to give shape and voice to their wildest imagination
In this class, children will:
-Discover Puppets technics of all shapes and sizes:
shadow puppets, matchbox-theater, papier-mache, crankies and more ...
-Become puppeteer, actor and narrator all at once.
-Share a new stage of storytelling with friends and perform for your family at the end of the session

Tuesdays 4PM to 5:15PM
Starting March 29th to June 9th
( No class on April 19th)

Cost: $25/student
($5 discount for additional child of the same family with the code sibling)

TEACHING THE CLASS:
Stephanie Larriere, Brooklyn-based French teaching artist pulling more than one string at once.
She is the cofounder and director of Brooklyn Beanstalk ,Language and Art program for children since 2012
After dedicating over a decade guiding children through language acquisition through immersion, Stephanie L. integrates puppetry arts as a meaningful and creative medium of self expression.
Stephanie L has been enriching her storytelling voice through puppetry arts immersion with international companies Bread and Puppets, SandGlass Theater and artists Karen Zasloff, Karishma Chugani and Hans Christian Handersen.
She is happy to offer a storytelling scene to this new generation.
