As artists, ours is a race without a beginning or an end. Ours is a legacy unhindered by “nouns or horizons.” Even with “pebbles under our tongues,” we continue to write, sing, flow to the rhythm of stars and the beautiful expanse of the universe.
Do you see the tiny mic riding the crest of a wave as another wave—many times its size—threatens to swallow it whole? This tiny mic represents the beacon of hope that art instills in all of us. It’s the art that keeps us floating, anchored amidst stormy seas, amidst life’s hardest challenges.
Where Sea Begins is a showcase of ten independent poets and singer-songwriters coming together to share the art and stories that keep them afloat. Join us for an evening where we let art be our internal compass as we embark on a journey to unveil the next phase of performing arts in India.
