Students from Lynn Vocational Technical Institute explored identity, memory, and place through collage inspired by George Ella Lyon’s poem Where I’m From…
Estudiantes de Lynn Vocational Technical Institute exploraron identidad, memoria y lugar a través del collage, inspirados en el poema Where I’m From… de George Ella Lyon.
Using string and India ink, they created expressive line drawings that became the foundation for larger collaborative works. Each class added layers of spray paint and mark-making — building bold, collective pieces that speak to both personal history and shared experience.
Utilizando hilo y tinta china, crearon dibujos expresivos que sirvieron como base para obras colaborativas de gran formato. Cada clase añadió capas de pintura en aerosol y gestos de creación de marcas — construyendo piezas colectivas que reflejan historias personales y experiencias compartidas.
