A Creative Aging Program:
A FREE Public Event for Adults 55+
Plan time for yourself with a workshop to spark creativity, community building, self-reflection, and fun! The creative process will include the use of music, television clips, sharing stories, and expressive writing as the catalyst to create a poem and a multimedia art piece. No art or writing experience is needed. MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED!
"Creative Aging" is a national initiative, to provide older populations with opportunities for artistic expression, social interaction, and enhanced mental and physical health through meaningful engagement in the arts.
HopeWorks is excited to bring this exciting initiative to Howard County, MD!
This workhop series meets eight times: Saturdays from July 27 to September 14, 2024.
Each sessions meets from10am to 11:30am
Materials are provided.
The program ends with a Celebratory Event on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
