About this Event
In this absolutely unique class we are bringing together the age old crafts of Italian pasta making and traditional Chinese dumplings!
Firstly, our chef Avery Perry will teach you how to master the perfect pasta dough from scratch, by using fresh eggs, a combination of flours and great kneading techniques.
In the second part of our class, Ethan Zhu, our head pasta maker as well as the chef/owner of Ying Ramen, will show you how to craft the perfect dumplings and master the folding techniques to create not just delicious stuffed foods, but beautiful looking ones too!
Our classes are not limited simply to cooking instruction. We also explore the culinary traditions of the shapes and recipes we are making and learn about the terroir of the regions where they originate. This evening is laid back yet informative, perfect for a couples' date out or a leisurely family activity. We guarantee that you will go home with the know-how to make pasta at home!
Bar available on site for all other beverage purchases.
Class Includes:
- 1 Hour of hands-on pasta/dumpling instruction
- Take your dumplings home!
- Dumpling dinner consisting of a meat and vegetarian filling
