Truth, Trust, and Technology: Information in the Age of AI is our 2026-2027 community engagement series. The College of Letters and Science will host events over the academic year which focus on the prevalence of misinformation in the age of artificial intelligence.
What are the impacts to society when we question facts? Invited faculty will examine the decentralization of publishing authority, decline of local news sources, and unvetted information from social media platforms.

From lectures to panels, the year-long series will invite participants to improve their critical thinking and seek solutions to combat misinformation through a workshop-style event.
The public events will be free, but participants are encouraged to register to guarantee seating!
