Through traditional music, dance, and storytelling, performers invite young audiences to step into the story as it unfolds. Children and caregivers alike will be encouraged to sing along, move, and dance, becoming part of the story. There is no need for prior experience! Participation will be guided throughout, making the event accessible for all ages and abilities.
Rooted in Irish rural life, When the Rain Came Dancing celebrates curiosity, observation, and the small wonders of everyday moments: puddles forming, animals moving through the yard, and rain turning the familiar into something magical. The event creates a shared space where families can listen, laugh, move together, and experience storytelling as something living and interactive.
Designed to spark imagination and connection, When the Rain Came Dancing offers an engaging entrance into Irish music, dance, and story, reminding us that sometimes the simplest moments can bring us together in the most joyful ways.
