When the Holidays Feel Different

The holidays aren't always the happiest time of year for everyone. When someone we love is no longer here, the traditions, family gatherings, and special moments we once looked forward to can feel very different.
On Saturday, November 21, Hickory Grove Community Church and Grace in the Stillness will be hosting 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁, a free community workshop and dinner for anyone grieving the loss of a loved one.
We'll talk about why the holidays can be so difficult, ways to prepare for those harder moments, and how we can continue honoring and remembering the people we miss. We'll also look at how faith can bring comfort and hope along the way.
It doesn't matter if your loss was recent or many years ago. Everyone is welcome, and you don't have to be a member of our church to attend.
There is no cost to attend, but we do ask that you register so we can plan for materials and dinner.
