Join former Houston Poet Laureate Outspoken Bean as he uses items from the Menil Archives to address John and Dominique de Menil’s support of the Black Panthers in Houston. Through performance and conversation, Bean brings the intersection of art, music, poetry, activism, and social justice to life in a powerful, thought-provoking narrative.This program takes place in the main building, located at 1533 Sul Ross Street. As always, Menil programs are free and open to all.
