Wykład w języku angielskim / a lecture in English:When stars die, mysteries are born - A look beyond the life of a star
dr Alexander Ayriyan
Division of Elementary Particle Physics and Nuclear Astrophysics, Institute of Theoretical Physics, University of Wrocław
When stars die, they reshape the Universe. This lecture examines how stellar collapse and supernova explosions create neutron stars, forge heavy elements, and open a unique window into the fundamental properties of matter. Combining astronomical observations with modern theoretical physics, we explore what lies beyond the life of a star.
The lecture is aimed at high school students and anyone interested in this topic. The lecture is free of charge and no registration is required.
Location: Sala DSF (osobny pawilon w podwórzu)
