When Night Comes

The soiree of the year . . . dark, decadent and delicious.

A bespoke, multi-sensory and distinctly intoxicating performance experience, The Society invites you to attend When Night Comes.
A hedonistic night out, where visions and sounds, smells and textures, tastes and feelings are conjured.
When Night Comes is an immersive performance for small groups that blends theatre and cocktails in a singular experience. Encounter tantalising provocations, empyreal characters and an alluring bacchanalian world, in search of amusements, treats, tipples and secrets.
Fortify your spirits and step inside . . . After all, every adventure requires a first step.

** Please note: Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th June are preview performances. Preview performances are dress rehearsals and may not include all experience elements. **

Guests are invited to select either a VIP or Standard ticket when selecting their attendance date and time. A VIP Ticket guarantees you the best ‘seats' in the house, where you’ll usually be closest to the action and will delight in extra treats.
When Night Comes is set over multiple rooms and you will be guided through these spaces as part of the performance. Seats along the way are reserved for VIP Guests. (Please contact us directly regarding access needs.)

When Night Comes will last approximately 60 minutes. You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your performance start time. Latecomers are unable to be admitted.
Elevate your evening pre- and post-performance with a choice libation from The Austral's foyer bar.

Important Notes:

• The experience includes a number of cocktail (or mocktail) tipples and for some, edible treats. You must select either alcoholic or non-alcoholic in your ticket type when booking. Dietary notes can be found on the website FAQs in due course, please refer to these before attending and decline any offerings as appropriate.
• There are multiple performance times each night, please select your session time with your ticket.
• You must be aged 18+ to attend the experience.
• Service and consumption of alcohol is subject to Responsible Service of Alcohol and licensing requirements and the Producer and their representatives have the right to refuse service, and indeed, entry.
• There are adult concepts, uneven floor surfaces, stairs and low-level lighting. Entry is at your own risk.
• Coats and bags larger than A4 paper size are not permitted in the show. Please travel lightly, and leave coats and large bags at home. There is a self-check cloaking facility at the venue and items are left at your own risk.
• Due to the age of the Austral Theatre this performance is not fully accessible and there are a some stairs and periods of standing. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking to receive comprehensive details and experience suggestions.

What to expect from When Night Comes:

When Night Comes is an immersive and interactive show and experienced across multiple rooms. You will enter and experience the show in a small group with other attendees. You will be guided from room to room by the performers, watch and engage with show performances and be invited to partake in a drink or two. You may be invited to interact with the performers, but you don’t have, and you may choose to observe at a distance. Please see our FAQs for more information.
