Holidays are intended to be a time of joy and togetherness. Yet, if you have recently experienced the death of a loved one, the holiday season can be a difficult and overwhelming time.
We invite you to attend this 90-minute program, designed to help you understand why the holidays are so difficult after a loss. We will offer ways you can approach this season in a way that supports your healing during this time of grief while also honoring your loved one's memory.
Following the presentation, please join us in creating a Hope Pot to take home. We will plant bulbs and pansies in a small pot. Early next spring, your pot will come to life with new growth and flowers, which will serve as a reminder that better days lie ahead.
AuthoraCare Collective's Grief Support and Counseling Center will present When Grief & The Holidays Collide: A Program for Grieving Adults from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at the Lusk Education Center, 2501 Summit Ave., Greensboro.
Registration is required by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, and can be made by calling 336.621.5565 or emailing [email protected]
