When Cysters Meet PCOS Awareness Luncheon

PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) affects 1-in-10 reproductive-aged women and girls. It is a hormonal disease that causes hormonal imbalances, irregular periods, excess androgen levels, painful cysts in the ovaries, possible infertility, invitations to another condition called endometriosis and so much more! PCOS is a chronic condition and as of now, there is no cure. Women/girls with PCOS are affectionately known as “Cysters”.

The Luncheon is titled, When Cysters Meet, to connect PCOS Cysters and supporters. It is our goal to bring awareness to our community about this underserved and under supported condition!

At the Luncheon there will be vendors, raffles, speakers, interactive activities, “Cysterhood”, release and more!

The event is open ages 16 & older (If you have a young woman with PCOS she is more than welcome to come if under age 16; she needs to see a village).
