Hi everyone.The Council of ACT Motor Clubs (CACTMC) is hosting Wheels 2026 on Sunday 22 March at Thoroughbred Park, again supported by Famous Insurance.
Last year we, along with the two ACT Mustang Facebook pages guys and girls, had a great turn out. This year, we are going one better and will put together a Club Display, consisting of a gazebo, a Timeline display (like at the Canberra Mustang Show) and will sell Club and Chapter merchandise.
I will be inviting the Facebook people as well.
Entry into Wheels is either by pre-paid tickets ($5) or on the day ($10). For those keen to join in the Timeline (and we have limited space) or if you are sure you will attend, I need your confirmation and preferably your $5 asap so that I can send in a bank transfer and collect your tickets on Thursday 19 March. John Perryman and I have identified some cars to form the basis of the Timeline and we will contact you directly in the next day or so to see if you are interested and available.
If you aren't sure you can make it, or are happy with paying $10 on the day (it all supports a charity - RSL Lifecare), just come along on the Sunday.
As we need to set up the display from 8am, we will meet at the McDonalds on Northbourne at the North Gate to EPIC (on Sterling Ave) at 7:30am for a 7:50 departure.
We will access Thoroughbred Park via Gate 1 for those with Pre-paid tickets (I will issue these at McDonalds at the meet up, along with the windshield sticker) and Gate 2 for those paying $10 on the day. I will reserve space for as many mustangs as possible, based on the RSVP and interest.
