Wheelin' On The Beach

Join us on Thursday, August 6, for an afternoon of community, beach access, and fun at Alki Beach!
Seattle Parks has installed permanent beach access mats at Alki, and for this event we'll be bringing additional Access Trax Mats to extend the pathway and make it possible to travel even closer to the water.
We've reserved Tables 3, 4, 5, and 6, located just west of the Statue of Liberty Plaza under the trees, providing a shady place to gather, relax, and socialize. The beach access mats are located just east of the Alki Beach Park Boathouse, which has accessible public restrooms.
The Alki Trail, which runs alongside the beach, offers a great opportunity for a scenic trail ride before or during the event. If you'd like to grab a meal, coffee, or ice cream, you'll find numerous restaurants and cafés just across the street on Alki Avenue SW.
We'll provide a limited supply of cold beverages. Please bring your own snacks or picnic. Friends, family members, caregivers, and allies are all welcome!
Schedule
Setup begins: Around 12:30 p.m. (volunteers welcome!)
Official event: 1:00–4:00 p.m.
The tables are reserved for the entire day, so you're welcome to come early or stay and visit after the official event concludes.
We had a blast at our last beach day and hope you'll be able to join us this time!
Parking: Street parking only. While parking can be limited at Alki, we're hopeful that a weekday will make it a bit easier to find a spot.
RSVPs are appreciated but not required.
