Join us for this hands-on beginner level wheel throwing class for those who are brand new to the wheel, as well as for those wanting to improve their wheel throwing skills! We will walk you through each step - centering, opening, pulling walls, and shaping and more.
Included with the class:
-4 weeks of in person, small group instructional classes on the pottery wheel (class held Monday evenings from 5-7:30pm)
-Open studio day each week to come practice what you're learning
-15lbs clay
-Open Studio time to come glaze your pots after they have dried and been bisque fired (generally 2-3 weeks after class)
-2 glazed pots

All materials, clay, tools, etc will be provided at the studio. Wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting muddy, and come have a great time learning a new skill! Class will be held every Monday night from 5-7:30 pm for 4 weeks, then you'll come back to glaze during open studio after your pieces have been bisque fired (approx 2-3 weeks after the last day of class)
