For their civic action project this spring, WHCIS 8th-graders studied the past, present, and future of their school building. They surveyed over 550 students, educators, and community members about what they prefer for the future Winter Hill.After months of hard work, the 8th grade students from Winter Hill Community Innovation School are presenting their project and research findings directly to the Somerville School Committee on Monday, May 20th!
From 6:40-7:00pm, you can see the students’ trifold posters with their data results.
The School Committee meeting starts at 7:00.
The students’ presentation is at the top of the agenda (before public comment).
Their results and final report will also be published on the class website (https://sites.google.com/a/k12.somerville.ma.us/msbrady-socialstudies/civic-action-project) after the presentation.
