PFLAG RV--CV is holding a night of fun and conversation at a local venue on October 24th from 6pm—8pm!
We're wearing things that don't come out of our closets very often and holding space for people to talk about how it feels for a loved one (including yourself) to come out of their closet. This party is hosted by a business operating in public space, therefore it is open to people of all ages. Discussions will be family-oriented, so we encourage you to invite your loved ones--- we hope everyone will respect the fun and function that this event represents.
You'll have opportunities to win (modest) prizes, deepen your understanding of the coming out process, and learn about LGBTQ+ friendly resources in our community. Party rules will be posted soon, so stay tuned!
If you need support or would like to get involved with our organization, meet us October 17th, 6:30 p.m., the usual place.
