Heading into summer, what are the things we can keep an eye out for in our backyards to help make space for nature?Come along between 1pm and 3pm to connect and hear from local groups working to support and grow biodiversity in our neighbourhood.
Who will you hear from?
Rotorua Honey Bee Club - guest speaker at 1.30pm to share all about bees! Hive demo, honey tasting, what you can do to encourage bees in your garden.
Linton Park Community Centre's Whenua Warrior - all about your maara kai, what to plant, soil health, composting. Pick up some free bee attracting seeds!
Predator Free Rotorua - get started with backyard trapping and bring native birds back. Sign up for a free backyard rat trap!
