What's Going on With Men: A community conversation.
About this Event
This event is intended as a space for men to reflect on their experiences and engage with the themes emerging from the State of UK Men 2025 report.
Across the UK, conversations about men’s wellbeing, identity, relationships, work, and mental health are becoming more urgent but they are not always happening in the same room, or in the same way.
This event brings aims to bring together men from different backgrounds for a facilitated, open and honest conversation inspired by the State of UK Men 2025 report.
Although a summary of the findings will be presented to the group, this will be an interactive session. We will explore the key themes emerging from the report and, more importantly, what they mean in real life; in our communities, workplaces, relationships, and everyday experiences.
Topics will include:
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Connection, isolation, and belonging
- Fatherhood
- Finding purpose
- What support actually looks like, and what’s missing
Rather than rushing to conclusions, together we'll explore the realities behind the report's findings and what they might mean for men, communities, and society. We will also consider what positive action could look like.
The session will be facilitated in a way that encourages open dialogue, respectful listening, and balanced participation.
This is an opportunity to listen, speak, and contribute to a wider conversation about what it means to be a man in the UK today......and where we go from here.
