Even if the term "zine" is new to you, chances are you’ve encountered one before. Emerging in the early 1900s, zines gave independent and amateur creators a way to share their ideas far and wide. Rooted in DIY spirit, community-building, and creative freedom, zines have long served as a voice for the marginalized, the nonconformist, and the activist.
In this workshop, you’ll explore the rich history of zines and craft one of your very own!
