ABOUT THE 'WHATEVER NEW YORK HAS' CAMPAIGN
In a city as expensive as New York, finding a win for your wallet and your palate can feel like a full-time job. This June, Too Good To Go is turning that search into a city-wide celebration of affordability, discovery, and local food culture.
The campaign kicks off June 8-12 with limited-edition Golden Ticket Surprise Bags hidden across all five boroughs, one borough per day. These curated bundles feature prizes from local food partners, access to cultural experiences, borough-specific surprises, and a $100 Too Good To Go voucher.
Then, on June 14, the search goes city-wide. Using a dedicated digital hub, participants will solve riddles, crack clues, and unlock challenges that send them across New York City in search of hidden locations and prizes. Geofencing technology will verify arrivals and reveal the next step in the hunt.
One lucky New Yorker will turn a local discovery into a global adventure, winning a dream trip to Italy. And because this is a competition of strategy—not speed—travel time between locations won't count toward the final score. Instead, the winner will be determined by the fastest cumulative clue-solving time.
By blending affordability, sustainability, and the thrill of discovery, the campaign invites New Yorkers to explore hidden gems, support local businesses, and see their city in a whole new way.
