Guest Speaker Bio
Director, Privacy Professional, Privacy Fellow, FIP, CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT
Donna-Leigh is a Fellow of Information Privacy, and holds certifications in CIPP/US, CIPP/EU, CIPT and CIPM. With extensive experience in privacy, healthcare, computer programming, IT services and education, coupled with over 14 years’ working in privacy management, two Bachelor of Science degrees (Information Technology & Computer Science; Biology & Psychology) and a certified Java programmer, Donna-Leigh is well versed in defining, implementation and managing robust privacy programs, and in undertaking technical privacy impact assessments. Donna-Leigh has held an Asia Pacific Compliance and Privacy role, consulted in privacy for a range of public and private sector clients, across varied industries and privacy legislations, and lectured in computer programming. She remains a fierce and vocal advocate for privacy protections.
