What to Expect in the Midterms, with Auditor Dave Boliek

The U.S. Senate race draws the most headlines, but all U.S. House seats and every seat in the General Assembly is also on the ballot this year. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump’s efforts to restrict mail-in ballots and changes at every county board of elections have prompted questions about how voting this year will differ from past elections.

The Assembly plans to help readers answer all of those questions and more.

Auditor Dave Boliek will sit down with Assembly politics reporter Bryan Anderson for a conversation about his role overseeing the North Carolina State Board of Elections, various rule changes that could affect voting and vote-counting this year, and more.
