What They Don’t Tell Us: A Community Secret-Telling Event

Join us for a Book Launch & Community Gathering centered on truth, healing, and collective power. This event invites us to come together and share the lessons many of us were forced to learn alone about reproductive health.

Black women experience disproportionately high rates of fibroids, infertility, endometriosis, cervical cancer, pregnancy complications, and maternal mortality. These realities are often dismissed, minimized, or purposely left out of mainstream conversations about health care.

Through storytelling, dialogue, and collective reflection, we will uncover the “secrets” about our bodies, our care, and the medical system. We need to talk about the things we were never taught, warned about, or encouraged to question.You will also hear about the authors personal fight with fibroids and the “secrets” she uncovered along the way. This is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and connect with others who believe our stories matter and our health deserves to be protected. Together, we tell the truths that can save lives.
