We’re all set to launch our festive celebrations with a unique flying experience at the Millbridge Hall on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of December. At the centre of our special festive event is an immersive short film, giving you an amazing opportunity to see "What Santa Sees" when he flies around the world on Christmas Eve. Shown in the 360-degree immersive Cosmos Planetarium, this joyous film whisks families away on an enchanting round-the-world Christmas adventure.
To add to the festive cheer, there are rumours that Santa might touch down to pay a special visit to meet local youngsters ahead of the big day!
There will be snacks, teas, coffees and hot chocolate as well as a small gift for every child attending the show.
The "What Santa Sees" film runs for approximately 20 minutes inside our cosmos planetarium and you are welcome to visit our café area before or after your showing. Please note: food and drink is not allowed in the planetarium.
All children under 12 must be accompanied by at least one paying adult in the planetarium.
Seating in the planetarium dome is provided via floor mats, but we have some seats available for those with mobility issues. Please let our helpful elves know if you require a seat on the day. Our dome and the Millbridge Hall are also fully accessible.
Parking at the hall is limited, we therefore recommend arriving in plenty of time for your slot. There is alternative parking at The Boathouse or Kirkgate Park which are no more than a 10-minute walk from the Millbridge Hall.
We look forward to seeing you there… Ho! Ho! Ho!
