Spiritual reflection in THE 222's Moss Sculpture Garden, with "potluck" dinner following.
Every Second Wednesday of the Month
What Moves You? is a contemplative experience of shared spiritual reflection upon a sacred text. Join us the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. as leaders from different faith traditions within Sonoma County guide us based on the practice of Lectio Divina, or “Divine Reading.” We will hear a sacred text from the leader’s tradition in a contemplative manner, three times through. After each time, we will share responses and insights.
October Speaker: Kathryn Song - It's easy to lose our heart connection in prayer, especially when it is a prayer we've heard and recited over & over again, like the Lord's Prayer. Come on a reawakening journey, as we use the crystal sound bowls to accompany the words of the Lord's Prayer translated from the Aramaic language in which it was originally spoken. Let the words and sounds once again bring you to the freedom and spark of life, which Christ intended his words to bring us as followers.
Born in Wisconsin, Kathryn became a resident of California 45 years ago, drawn to the state's core values of inclusivity, social awareness and innovation, Today, Kathryn uses her musical and artistic skills to build and strengthen community by conducting therapeutic sound sessions, by hosting organized women's groups, and by supporting organizations like THE 222.
