What Is Pittsburgh’s Brand? Battle Round will feature head-to-head debates between people from around our city and moderated by Megan Harris of City Cast. We will explore defining common Pittsburgh brand themes—such as “welcoming,” “resilience,” and “mobility”—in five energetic discussions. Our pre-selected participants will debate one of these topics in front of our audience: one to argue in favor of the theme, the other to challenge it. As an audience, we'll encourage you to react in real time. You'll even have the chance to take the mic and respond with hot takes and unfiltered feedback, including in lightning rounds.

The goal is to provide a rapid, participatory and thought-provoking exchange that will leave you entertained and contemplating if we've truly defined what is Pittsburgh’s brand.

Join us in The Pittsburgh Foundation’s new office spaces overlooking our downtown, river fronts and Three Sister bridges. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided.
