Schedule:


4:00pm – 4:15pm — UCL Investment Society President’s address and Green Economy Society introduction, as well as brief introduction to speakers.


4:15pm – 4:50pm — Panel discussion chaired by student committee members.


4:50pm – 5:10pm — Q&A section from audience.


5:10pm – 5:30pm — Opportunity for speakers and students to network.


Objectives:

Teach incoming first-years and second-years about what ESG is, why finance firms are prioritising it, and what ESG initiatives the speakers’ firms (Informatica, and Green Angel Syndicate) are undertaking.

Inform students of the potential opportunities that exist at these firms (in ESG departments and otherwise), letting them know what the process of application is like and how they can put forward a competitive application.

Allow students to ask industry-specific and application-related questions to the speakers in the Q&A section of the talk
