What is a Bee Waggle Dance? Dr Bug Explains Bee Behaviour

Did you know that bees do a 'waggle dance' for communication?

And that they flap their wings so hard they become negatively charged?

And that Tasmania has a native bee that travels alone, never in a swarm?

Dr Shasta Henry brings her energy and scientific knowledge to Nipaluna/Hobart to explain why bees do what they do.

She is the manager of the Terrestrial Invertebrate Collections at the Museum of South Australia Adelaide/Tarntanya.

She is originally from Lutruwita/Tasmania where she studied invertebrate ecology in the Wilderness World Heritage area.
