About this Event
📚Lecture: "What Happens When You Almost Die? Cases Doctors Can't Explain"
🎤Speaker: Andres Delgado-Ron (Social Epidemiologist)
We often hear stories about people who were clinically dead and came back to tell a story. But, how much of those are truth? We have selected a few credible experiences, either documented or verified by medical personnel to discuss together which explanation fits your worldview. Take a sip whenever a story strikes you as real. Take two if you would need to be drunk to believe the alternative explanation that the patient somehow made it up. We will close the night with an actual overview of what science says about the topic
Andres Delgado-Ron is a social epidemiologist and public health researcher specializing in data science for causal inference. He currenlty work as a Senior Data Analyst at Simon Fraser University, working on diverse topics including health equity, social loneliness, and psilocybin effects on mental health.
