What Happens to the Real Estate After the Owner Dies?

I'm putting together both an educational panel and a network of community resource partners so families and caregivers can learn more about who to contact for legal, property, tax, insurance, real estate, caregiving, and other needs that may arise when someone they love has died.
This is a community education event for families and caregivers dealing with the practical decisions that can arise when someone dies and leaves real estate behind.
The event is intended to bring together local professionals and community resources who can help answer practical questions about the house, probate, insurance, taxes, personal property, estate responsibilities, caregiving, and the many other decisions that can suddenly become someone else's responsibility.
We want people to leave with more than general information. Our goal is to give families and caregivers a better understanding of what may need to happen next, who they may need to contact, and where they can turn when they need help.
We also hope to take some of the mystery out of the process and help simplify some of the stressful decisions that can arise when the inevitable happens.
The seminar, "What Happens to the Real Estate After the Owner Dies?", is designed for heirs, executors, personal representatives, caregivers, surviving family members, and others who may suddenly find themselves responsible for figuring out what happens next.
Come have dinner with us, bring your questions, and meet local professionals and community resources who may be able to help when those questions become real-life decisions.
