The show centers around the incredible journey of Vilson Duarte Dong, a 22-year-old ex-gang member whose life was forever changed after surviving a near-fatal car accident. Despite the odds, Vilson rebuilt his life, earned first-class honors, and now advocates passionately against knife crime. His remarkable story, featured on BBC and ITV, is a testament to hope, resilience, and transformation.

While Vilson's story is the centerpiece, each performer will bring their own artistic response to themes of loss, identity, and hope. Expect a vibrant mix of dance, rap, music, spoken word, visual art, and an integrated fashion show featuring a popular Leeds designer.

With an expected audience of 500, this event will spotlight the creativity of young people, especially Black and minority creatives in Leeds.
