About this Event
The London Borough of Newham is hosting a workshop for businesses and community groups on East Ham High Street, to offer advice on how to strengthen their social impact and climate resilience. The workshop will be led by architecture and urbanism practice We Made That, as part of the Greater London Authority High Street Place Labs Programme.
At the workshop we will explore and discuss:
- Energy costs and efficiency
- Minimising the cost of waste management and reusing materials
- Ensuring customers and visitors can use the high street during hot weather
- What support businesses need
- Identifying projects and initiatives for East Ham
