Simply Women Of Righteous Design

Is a parachurch ministry. What does that mean exactly? It means we are a ministry that comes along side of churches, to minister specifically to women in ways that the church is not able to do during its Sunday morning services.

We are not in competition with any church or other ministry. Our mission is to help heal women, and to equip and empower them by the Word and the Holy Spirit.

So many of us, when we finally receive healing and feel as though we’ve stepped into our new identity, ask, “What do I do now – now that I am no longer a victim – now that I’m no longer in that old life? Now that I no longer want to walk in that old identity, what, exactly, do I do?”

Our ministry is called to answer that question by equipping women with the truth, both scripturally and practically, of who they are and what the word of God says about them. We give them strategies in how to fight for that truth, and teach them how to stand in their own God-given authority.

But once they are healed and equipped, the next question often is, “Ok. So what do I do with all of this? Did God do this for me just so I can sit here now and wait for Him to take me home, healed and equipped?”

Well… heck no!!!

SWORD’s ministry is designed to empower women to begin walking out their new journey with power and boldness! We teach them to take everything the devil intended to use to destroy them, and turn it around so they’re able to use those very same situations, from which they were healed and delivered, to minister to others by testifying about what the Lord did for them – thereby giving God the glory for that very thing the enemy tried to use to destroy them.

Some of these women go on to do huge and great things, and are called to their own ministries. Some are charged to just begin serving and living out the reality of who they are as a daughter of the Most High. Regardless of what their walk in life is ultimately to be, our only hope and goal with the women we get to minister to is that they are able to discover and start that walk as they become empowered to stand – and fight the right fight – in truth and power and love.

This is who S.W.O.R.D. is, and this is what we do with the empowerment we receive from the Holy Spirit Himself. God gets ALL the glory!
