The Whale in the Thames is a Band built of Rock, Wood, Liquid and Love. Formed in 2011 when friends got together for a Trip Underground to the Basement of all Basements to have a Jam/Reunion. These Songs Sung in French, English and Gibberish flowed from their own Roots of Friendship, Respect and Reality. Right Away the Monthly Jam Session became Weekly. It was Fun! Fun with Friends! Playing Music!
Sometime in 2012 the Band came out of the Basement of Basements and it was Friends Playing Music Above Ground for Friends and Friends of Friends It was Still Fun. Back from recent Summer 2016 Performances and Adventures in France, Whale in the Thames is Happy to Announce they have a Self Titled Album on both CD and Vinyl available Now!

Maude Caillat is a prolific saxophonist leading four different projects around the New Orleans area. The Maude Caillat Quartet is the most intimate version of her musical universe.
Recognized as an emerging new sound in the New Orleans jazz scene, the Quartet fuses in modern and traditional African and Arabic influences with (of course) a touch of Coltrane. Sophistication, passionate improvisation, and heartfelt melodies are just a few words to describe the music of these incredible artists.
