Ladies and gentlemen, WGT fans, performers, music lovers, and rock stars in the making—get ready for a milestone moment!
This year marks the Quinquennial Anniversary of WGT: Drop the Mic, and with it comes an exciting new chapter for the event! For Season 5, Warren's Got Talent is proud to announce its new official venue: The Cathedral of Rock at Pellegrino's Creekside Pavilion—a stage that will not only host this year’s celebration, but is anticipated to become home for WGT: Drop the Mic in the years to come!
Nestled along the water and known for its unforgettable live music atmosphere, The Cathedral of Rock has become a sacred stage for musicians and fans alike. The amphitheater earned its iconic name from James Patrick Hackett—the creative force behind Warrenstock and frontman of The Allegheny River Monster's—and ever since, it has truly lived up to that title!
Each year on July 2nd, the venue roars to life during Warren’s beloved Warrenstock festival, bringing the community together through music, celebration, and the spirit of live performance. Now, that same legendary stage will welcome a new tradition as the new home of WGT: Drop the Mic!
WGT: Drop the Mic coordinator and event organizer Meghan Kelsey is bringing the 5th anniversary show to The Cathedral of Rock for Season 5, alongside her son, TMC Label artist Skylar Martin, her dedicated event team and the incredible sponsors who help make it all possible. These sponsors—made up entirely of local community businesses, individuals, and local musicians—share a common goal: giving back to the community while creating an event where people can celebrate music, support local talent, and have an unforgettable time together.
This year’s milestone event will take place as a two-night vocal competition, giving talented artists the chance to take the stage, showcase their voices, and compete in front of a panel of professional judges and a live audience.
📅 Night One: September 5, 2026 - Qualifier Round
📅 Night Two: September 12, 2026 - Finals
Performers will bring their best to the stage as they compete for a generous prize package provided by The Music Conservatory LLC - Warren and the title of WGT: Drop the Mic - Season 5 champion!
This upcoming season will be the most exciting season yet for aspiring vocalists and up and coming talent!

Anyone interested in competing in WGT: Drop the Mic at The Cathedral of Rock - Pellegrino's Creekside Pavilion, please note this is a registration-only event. Registration dates will be announced in July 2026 for Season 5.
To ensure everyone has an equal opportunity to compete, pre-registration will not be allowed for this event. Registration will open at the same time for all competitors, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis once registration officially opens.
